Realisation of Outcome.

Using your preliminary studies produce a well resolved triptych of
paintings that capture the insect theme either figuratively or in an abstract
manner. The scale of these pieces is up to you, but they should be a
sustained and substantial piece when complete.

Task 4:
|
Evaluation (Unit 41):
Write a thorough evaluation in this you need
to:
·
Review the choices of painting
media, techniques and processes you selected to develop your work in response
to the brief. Use technical terms and describe the equipment you explored and
employed.
·
Describe how you used painting media
in the different stages of the task, including : starting points/generation
of ideas ; developmental work and outcome.
·
Discuss how you explored the formal
elements such as colour, composition, scale, mark-making.
·
Talk about the ideas behind your
work, in what way were you trying to capture the nature of your chosen insect
through your painting.
·
Evaluate the strengths and
weaknesses of both your developmental process and your outcome. Justify and
explain decisions made in as your project progressed.
·
Identify how you could develop and
use the skills acquired in this project in future work.
